Signatories

Signatories in the information exchange

A signatory is an individual that formally signs a document to indicate agreement, approval, or authorization. The signature acts as a binding commitment to the terms outlined in the document and may carry legal, financial, or operational significance depending on the context.

The signatories module allows a user to define, manage, and assign individuals for a party (company) who have the authority to sign. When this module is enabled, users can configure a list of signatories and select relevant signatories for each dossier where needed.

During an information exchange, the counterparty (e.g. responsible person) can decide which of the individuals of the signatory list should (co-)sign the document. The selected signatories will receive a notification to sign the document in forms of an invitation sent by e-mail and configurable through a specific template.

If the selected signatories need to provide additional information that is not requested from the responsible person, you can configure this by adding filtering for the selected signatories in the flow steps.
