SAS AML Rescreening Provider

🎯 Functional documentation

This is a rescreening provider specific to the SAS AML Due Diligence as a due diligence provider. This provider is different from the Basic rescreening provider, because the provider will only return dossiers that are related to SAS alerts.

⚙️ Configuration

  • Implementation class: eu.myharmoney.app.providers.duediligence.appc.AppcRescreeningProviderV2
  • Resource URI: https://conformite-appc.com/SASBIWS/rest/storedProcesses/Products/SAS%20Compliance%20Solutions%20FCFBU_${APPC_URI_VAR_1}/Stored%20Processes

Allows the use of a variable ${APPC_URI_VAR_1} which is taken from the external metadata of the FSP.

Overrule cached due diligence provider results

The SAS AML rescreening provider takes advantage of SAS alerts to know upfront which parties need to be rescreened. However, it's possible that these parties still have associated due diligence provider results from previous due diligence checks. If these previous due diligence provider results are not yet expired (defined by DUE_DILIGENCE_RESULT_EXPIRATION setting on each due diligence provider) and there is no data changed on Harmoney side, the Harmoney due diligence caching system will not perform a new due diligence provider check but instead reuse the previous provider result.

To overrule the Harmoney due diligence caching system, you can configure due diligence provider identifiers on this rescreening provider under setting overruleCachedResultsForDueDiligenceProviders. By configuring a due diligence provider in this setting, no cached provider results from this provider will be used. This ensures that a fresh due diligence provider check is always performed for the configured due diligence provider(s) for every alerted party.

Of course, it's possible that not all due diligence providers are relevant for an SAS alert. Keep this in mind when configuring the due diligence providers in this setting.

Additional information about the settings:

  • The DOSSIER_FILTER setting is REQUIRED. See here
  • For the AUTOMATION_IDENTIFIER see actions
  • For the SYSTEM_USER see gateway user

Additional actions

To complete the configuration of the rescreening process, you need to configure an automation process that is triggered by the event defined in the property AUTOMATION_IDENTIFIER of the provider settings. See the SAS AML Screening use case.

✅ To test

  1. Make sure there are dossiers that comply to your dossier filter settings eg. in DONE.
  2. Alert the party in SAS that is linked to this dossier and is included in the associated parties of the RBA.
  3. Trigger the SAS AML rescreening provider
  4. The dossiers who complied to your dossier filter are in eg. SUBMITTED.
