Id Check, also known as, IDnow (formerly ARIADNEXT) as an identity provider allows counterparties in the flow to identify oneself using their ID. The information available will be transferred to Harmoney automatically so that the user doesn't have to perform this action. The provider also generates a specific identity document with a summary of the extracted information.

• The default way of identifying oneself is by uploading a front and back scan of their ID or Passport. Next, the user is asked to take a picture while holding their ID.
• The liveliness check starts also by uploading a front and back scan of their ID or Passport. Next, the user is asked to film oneself to assure the person is alive.

What's new in version 2

• Full language support. The provider now forwards all languages supported by iDcheck (en, fr, it, es, de, ro, cs, pl, pt, nl, ar, uk, sk, hu, bg). Any language outside this set is sent as English (en). In practice only the languages Harmoney itself offers reach this provider.
• Flow language priority. The language selected within the flow takes priority over the user's language. The Id Check identity provider therefore runs in the same language as the flow, falling back to the user's language only when no flow language is set.

Settings

• ID_CHECK_FLOW_TYPE (required):
  • DESKTOP: the counterparty provides their identity documents from their current device.
  • MOBILE: the counterparty is redirected towards their cellphone to provide their identity documents.
  • DESKTOP_LIVENESS: this enables a liveliness check. Documents can be uploaded from desktop, next a redirect to mobile for the liveliness check.
