Concepts

Harmoney provides a platform (MyHarmoney) to organizations subject to regulatory instances (B2B) to:

  • Simplify interaction between the organization and their (potential) customers:
    • The platform allows organizations to do a digital outreach to their customers and gather all kinds of information for different purposes. For example:
      • Capture personal and/or corporate (identity) information for onboarding & legal purposes (e.g. for anti-money laundering checks).
      • Capture personal interest for sales purposes (e.g. are you interested in buying/selling stocks?).
      • Capture personal knowledge for legal purposes (e.g. you need to know what stocks are before you can sell them).
      • Gather personal or corporate documents
  • Simplify processes within the organization:
    • The platform allows configuration of workflows to digitize complex processes in a single platform. For example:
      • Digitize the process to onboard a customer
      • Digitize the process to screen a customer according to legal requirements (e.g. anti-money laundering)
      • Digitize the process to finalize the onboarding of a customer, including all custom rules of the organization, such as capturing documents, requiring multiple reviews of the data by employees.

Organization

An organization is the most high-level entity on the platform and represents a customer of Harmoney. All configuration and data of that customer is linked to the organization.

Financial Service Provider

An FSP is the entity that owns the actual data (dossiers, parties, documents, …) that is gathered and used in the platform.

White label

To access the platform with the look and feel of the organization AND with a nice feeling of data separation, each organization must have at least 1 white label.

Party

A party defines a legal entity that has legal rights and obligations. It exists within the context of an FSP.

Dossier

In MyHarmoney, every process is translated into a dossier. The dossiers correspond with contracts created between a client and the financial service provider.

Due Diligence and RBA

Information exchange

An information exchange or outreach is a process where a financial service provider (FSP) reaches out to a counterparty to gather data for a dossier and its associated parties.
